Laid back couthie Cromarty has a perfect heart of the community pub with local beers, actually changing, eclectic menu and a lovely garden c/o Pete and Ingrid Rochford. 7 days. Lucky little Cromarty seems to have everything.

Very nice Inn! we had Smoked Salmon and Steak & Ale pie with Sticky toffee pudding to share. Food was delicious, very good quality ingredients and we really enjoyed our meal. Chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

We originally went in because nearly everything else in Cromarty happened to be shut, but we’re really glad we did. Friendly and welcoming, great range of beers and the menu might not be extensive but the food was excellent. Would definitely go again when we’re back in Cromarty

This is an actual must have destination for anyone who enjoys truly delicious food. I don’t care how far away you are – it’s vital you eat here. 😁

I’m trying to find the words to express how truly exceptional and so very special the food is. I had the Seabass. The best Seabass I have ever eaten. Fresh, moist and cooked to perfection with the most wonderful taste. The dish was so simple yet the flavours combined in the most unexpected, delightful and pleasing way yet without eclipsing the fish. Orange and Fennel sauce. A revelation!!! The chef is a real talent. My friends felt the same about their dishes too and we were all so pleased and impressed. It was so good we’ve immediately booked in for tomorrow so we can do it all over again.

The people who own it and work there are so very lovely. They were so friendly and welcoming and funny and kind. It was exciting to learn about renovations they have been doing, and ladies, the toilets are simply amazing!!

This is a very comfortable restaurant located in a hotel in Cromarty. The menu is rather limited, but the food that we chose was quite good and obviously freshly made. We had our B&B hostess book a table for us both nights, as we had enjoyed it so much the first that we decided to patronize this place a second evening for dinner.
I would highly recommend booking as table seating is quite limited. The hostess is quite friendly and welcoming.

Really nice atmosphere and decent selection of drinks. The library located behind the main area is a lovely place to relax

Also a really good selection of gins and beers . What else do you need !

Had the hot dog today.which was very tasty. Then had the sticky toffee pudding and omg that was amazing best I’ve ever tasted.

Parking: Very narrow roads to park. Ended up parking down the water side. Walked to the pub which wasn’t far. Was worth the walk for the sticky toffee pudding

Been looking forwards to checking this place out since it’s change from Cromarty Arms. The changes made are all spot on, inviting atmosphere, welcoming staff and great food and local Cromarty beer options.Well worth a visit if you are in the Cromarty area..

We stopped here unexpectedly and had a lovely afternoon – the food was delicious and far above our expectations … we were expecting basic pub food but in reality the food was far superior and so freshly made. We had a really memorable afternoon here – thank you! Recommend the artisan hot dog and the plant based sausage roll! Service very good too and the atmosphere lovely

Beautiful rustic pub, service and food first class. Had the black isle organic cider really nice and refreshing. Would recommend this as the best pub in Cromaty
